    • Our story begins...

      Our name was born on a lonesome New Mexico highway as Sydney Dickinson followed an ambulance carrying her husband. At that moment she made a choice.

      Gathering her strength, she gripped the steering wheel, looked at her dog, and said, “Lucy, We’re going to Play the Day®!”

      Sydney was my mother, and her simple 3-word phrase is my daily reminder to choose that same joy while rising above life’s challenges. It inspires everything we do at Play the Day®, and it’s my mission to share that inspiration with you.
