My mom believed strongly in supporting local charities. 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, specifically for Rivkin Pilot Grants, which help launch new research throughout the world, by funding several new grants each year.

This charity is important to me for two reasons:

1) My maternal grandmother died from this disease almost 60 years ago.

2) My dear friend, Mary Anne, passed away in 2009 from ovarian cancer.

To date, we still do not have an early detection test for this deadly disease!
